If you have any questions or comments for Rev. McGeown, please post them in the comment section on the blog. Most of us have a wardrobe at home in which we keep our clothes. Every day we open the wardrobe and we put on some of the clothes that we store there. Perhaps we have clothes that we wear on special occasions.
Grace invites us to try on a new kind of wardrobe. One that God has chosen for us: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Did you just audibly sigh? When we invite Jesus to live in our heart the Holy Spirit starts working on our new kind of wardrobe. When you're not giving him a hard time. When he says, "Let me handle it," and you say, "Okay"--and actually behave as if you trust him to handle it. Well--his heart beats a little faster at the look of complete trust and confidence in him upon your face
