Anyway, we've discussed marriage already. If your relationship is moving forward, or she suggests doing something more expensive, it is not inappropriate for her to help pay as well. I don't think so. If they believe their religion, they will ultimately cause you pain and disappointment. I think Bob, the answer can be found in your comment. Vh65, your marriage is a black swan. My wife told me she does not want to know if the church is false, so I don't pressure her. And it was the most miserable and lousy choice I ever made. We are doing long distance at the moment and I was wondering if you have any advice.
But you are setting yourself up to leave the Church more easily, and even if you agree the children will be raised Mormon, your kids will likely not continue to participate in the Church as adults. I don't really care if she's religious or not, unless she brings it up all the time or tries to convert me. Plan on her family trying to torpedo your relationship if you don't convert. Do not expect anything long term. Most want nothing to do with the church. Then I do my own work I am a recruiter and I work remotely most of the time, which is incredibly convenient for our relationship. While I knew that she'd be busy with her studies, she did make good efforts to spend time with me at least once a week and things all seemed fine. Save her and yourself more pain by ending it before you fall in love.
