Apple Music subscribers now have an additional plan added by the company without much fanfare, and it could save quite an amount of money. These Apple Music plans in India corresponds for Rs per month per individual, Rs per month for a family plan and Rs 60 per month for students. Firstly, open the App Store app and scroll down to the end of the home screen. Once you land on to the next page click on the Subscriptions button, where you can access the Apple Music membership preferences. From here, you can switch from monthly individual to annual individual plan. Remember, this works only if you are an existing Apple Music subscribers. Other users, will first have to subscribe to Apple Music to switch to an annual plan.

Notably, the revised subscription plans are applicable only for the new subscribers only. However, if you are new to Apple Music and you want to try the service out before you opt for a subscription plan, there is a three-month trial period following which the plan that you have opted for would renew with subscription charges - something that Apple has been offering previously as well. Interestingly, the price cut in subscription charges of Apple Music comes at a time when Jio Saavn has slashed its subscription plan by 75 per cent bringing the yearly subscription fee from Rs to Rs with a month subscription fee costing Rs 99 to the users. The good news is that apart from getting YouTube Music Premium subscription, users also get access to Google Play Music without paying anything extra. Prime Music, on the other hand, comes bundled with the Amazon Prime subscription which costs Rs a year or Rs a month, while Spotify Premium costs Rs a month.
